حال ہی میں ایک نجی ٹی وی پروگرام میں اپنے شوہر اعجاز خان کے ساتھ گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے بتایا کہ وہ نکاح کی تقریب کو سادہ رکھنا چاہتی تھیں اور ان کی خواہش تھی کہ حق مہر بھی شریعت کے مطابق کم ہو۔ انہوں نے ابتدائی طور پر پانچ سے سات ہزار روپے حق مہر کی تجویز دی، تاہم ان کے شوہر نے اس پر رضامندی ظاہر نہ کی اور زیادہ رقم کے ساتھ جائیداد دینے کی پیشکش کی تاکہ انہیں مالی تحفظ حاصل ہو۔
اداکارہ کے مطابق انہوں نے اس پیشکش کو قبول کرنے سے انکار کیا کیونکہ ان کے نزدیک رشتے کی بنیاد محبت اور اعتماد ہوتی ہے، نہ کہ مالی معاملات۔ تاہم شوہر کے اصرار پر نکاح نامے میں دس لاکھ روپے حق مہر درج کیا گیا۔
فضا علی نے مزید کہا کہ انہوں نے شادی سے قبل کسی مالی شرط کا مطالبہ نہیں کیا اور وہ نکاح میں بھاری مالی تقاضوں کے حق میں نہیں ہیں۔ ان کے مطابق وہ اور ان کا خاندان سادگی کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں، اسی لیے نکاح کے موقع پر انہوں نے پھولوں کے زیورات استعمال کیے جبکہ صرف دو سونے کی انگوٹھیاں بطور تحفہ دی گئیں۔
اسی انٹرویو میں انہوں نے اپنی عمر اور کیریئر کے آغاز سے متعلق بھی بتایا کہ وہ 1984 میں پیدا ہوئیں اور 15 سال کی عمر میں شوبز انڈسٹری میں قدم رکھا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ کم عمری میں وہ اداکاری کے میدان میں آئیں اور اس وقت ان کے دل میں ہیروئن بننے کے خواب تھے۔

Speaking alongside her husband Ejaz Khan on a private TV program, Fiza Ali shared details about her marriage. She said she preferred a simple ceremony and wanted the dower amount to remain minimal in accordance with Islamic principles. Initially, she suggested an amount between five to seven thousand rupees, but her husband disagreed and offered a higher amount along with property to ensure her financial security.
According to the actress, she declined this offer, emphasizing that the true essence of a relationship lies in love and companionship rather than financial conditions. However, upon her husband's insistence, a dower amount of one million rupees was eventually recorded in the marriage contract.
She further clarified that she did not impose any financial conditions before marriage and does not support including assets like bank balances or jewelry in such agreements. She highlighted that both she and her family prefer simplicity, which is why she wore floral jewelry at the ceremony and received only two gold rings as gifts.
