The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has advertised recruitment of Lecturers in Computer Science (Male/Female) at Basic Pay Scale 18 for Government Degree Colleges under the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab. Number of posts: 85 (Male: 48, Female: 37). Allocation across all districts. Eligibility: BS (4-year) or MSc in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering with first division or CGPA 2.5+ from an HEC-recognised university. Candidates with MPhil or PhD receive additional marks. Age limit: 21 to 35 years. Age relaxation as per government rules for ex-servicemen and special categories. Salary: BPS-18 — Basic scale Rs. 68,000 to Rs. 198,000 per month, plus all applicable government allowances. Application: Online at ppsc.gop.pk. PPSC form fee Rs. 600. Closing date: May 20, 2026. Written test date: July 2026 (tentative).
