His appearance in shorts during the interview drew mixed reactions from social media users. In response, Mishi Khan addressed the matter in an Instagram video, questioning the double standards within the entertainment industry.
Without naming her directly, Mishi Khan referred to Dananeer Mobeen, saying that women often face criticism even when they are fully covered, while male actors rarely face similar scrutiny over their clothing choices.
