The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) will conduct its 2026 NET (NUST Entry Test) across three sessions between June and August for admission to engineering, IT, business, and architecture programmes. Registration opens March 15, 2026 at nust.edu.pk. The registration fee is Rs. 2,000 per attempt. Candidates may attempt all three NET sessions; the highest score is considered. Test format (200 marks total): Mathematics — 80 marks, Physics — 60 marks, English — 30 marks, Intelligence — 30 marks. Pre-Medical backgrounds applying for architecture take Biology + Chemistry instead of Physics. Merit formula: 75% NET score + 25% FSc/A-Level aggregate. Pure NET-based merit applies for NET scores above 180. Top programmes by competition (2025 merit): SEECS (CS) — NET 182, SMME (Mechanical Engineering) — NET 176, RIMMS (BBA) — NET 165.
