PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Arrives in Dhaka for Cricket Diplomacy
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Dhaka for a brief visit to attend the Pakistan-Bangladesh Test match and promote bilateral relations through cricket diplomacy.
پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ (پی سی بی) کے چیئرمین محسن نقوی ایک روزہ مختصر دورے پر ڈھاکہ پہنچ گئے ہیں، جہاں ایئرپورٹ پر بنگلہ دیش کے اعلیٰ سفارتی اور حکومتی حکام نے ان کا استقبال کیا۔
ڈھاکہ میں قیام کے دوران چیئرمین پی سی بی نے پاکستان اور بنگلہ دیش کے درمیان جاری پہلے ٹیسٹ میچ کے موقع پر اسٹیڈیم کا دورہ کیا، جہاں بنگلہ دیش کرکٹ بورڈ کے سربراہ تمیم اقبال نے ان کا خیرمقدم کیا۔
محسن نقوی نے بنگلہ دیشی وزیراعظم کے مشیر برائے خارجہ امور ہمایوں کبیر کے ہمراہ میچ دیکھا اور دونوں رہنماؤں نے کھیلوں، بالخصوص کرکٹ کے ذریعے دوطرفہ تعلقات کو مستحکم کرنے پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔

English Translation
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, for a one-day official visit. He was received at the airport by Bangladesh's Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam, Home Secretary Abu Nayeem, and BCB CEO Nazimuddin.
The PCB Chairman later proceeded to the stadium to witness the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, where he was warmly greeted by BCB President Tamim Iqbal.
During the visit, Mr. Naqvi watched the match alongside Humayun Kabir, the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Foreign Affairs. The leaders discussed enhancing mutual cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties through sports.
According to sources, both nations emphasized the significance of 'cricket diplomacy' in further consolidating the relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
