A Belarusian woman traveled to Faisalabad, Pakistan, to marry 32-year-old Saghir Hussain after a 10-month online relationship. The bride converted to Islam before the couple tied the knot in a simple ceremony.

32 سالہ صغیر حسین نے بتایا کہ ان کی اور اس غیر ملکی خاتون کی پہلی ملاقات تقریباً دس ماہ قبل ایک انٹرنیٹ پلیٹ فارم پر ہوئی تھی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ان کے خیالات اور نظریات میں ہم آہنگی پیدا ہوئی جس نے اس تعلق کو شادی کے بندھن تک پہنچایا۔

A casual introduction on social media has culminated in an international marriage. A young woman from Belarus, taking her relationship with a Pakistani citizen seriously, traveled thousands of miles to reach Faisalabad to begin a new chapter of her life.
According to 32-year-old Saghir Hussain, the two established contact about ten months ago via an online platform. Their initial conversations deepened over time, and mutual understanding strengthened their bond. He stated that their compatibility in temperament and outlook persuaded them to decide on marriage.
Upon her arrival in Pakistan, the woman sought local religious guidance and converted to Islam. A simple ceremony was held at a mosque where she embraced the Islamic faith and adopted a new name. Following this, the couple’s wedding took place in the presence of a limited number of family members.
