Islamabad High Court Closed Today Due to Iranian President's Visit
The Islamabad High Court will remain closed today due to strict security arrangements in the Red Zone for the Iranian President's official visit to Pakistan. Judicial staff have been advised to work from home, while district courts remain operational.
ایران کے صدر کے آفیشل دورہ پاکستان کے پیشِ نظر وفاقی دارالحکومت کے ریڈ زون میں سیکیورٹی کے انتہائی سخت اقدامات کیے گئے ہیں، جس کے باعث اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ آج بند رہے گی۔چیف جسٹس کی منظوری کے بعد اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کے رجسٹرار آفس سے جاری کردہ اعلامیے کے مطابق آج کے تمام مقدمات کی فہرستیں (کاز لسٹ) منسوخ کر دی گئی ہیں اور عدالتی عملے کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ گھروں سے دفتری امور انجام دیں۔نوٹیفکیشن میں واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ ایرانی صدر کی آمد کی وجہ سے ریڈ زون میں آمدورفت پر سخت پابندیاں ہیں، جس سے سائلین، وکلا اور عدالتی عملے کو عدالت پہنچنے میں شدید دشواری کا سامنا کرنا پڑ سکتا تھا، اسی بنا پر آج کوئی بھی عدالتی کارروائی عمل میں نہیں لائی جائے گی۔تاہم، اعلامیے میں یہ بھی واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ ضلعی عدالتوں پر اس فیصلے کا اطلاق نہیں ہوگا اور وہاں روزمرہ کے عدالتی امور معمول کے مطابق چلتے رہیں گے۔
English Translation
In light of the Iranian President's official state visit to Pakistan, extraordinary security measures have been implemented within the federal capital's Red Zone, leading to the closure of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) today.According to a notification issued by the IHC Registrar following approval from the Chief Justice, all scheduled cause lists for today have been cancelled, and the judicial staff has been instructed to work from home.The notification further explained that due to the Iranian President's arrival, tight security restrictions in the Red Zone would pose significant travel challenges for litigants, lawyers, and court officials trying to access the high court. Consequently, no judicial proceedings will take place today.On the other hand, the district courts will function as usual, and lower judiciary operations will continue without any disruption.Related
