Pakistan has secured the first position in the Cisco EMEA NetAcad Cup 2026, outperforming over 500 IT academies from 70+ countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
پاکستان نے انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی اور ڈیجیٹل مہارتوں کے عالمی مقابلے میں 70 سے زائد ممالک کو پیچھے چھوڑتے ہوئے ایک تاریخی سنگ میل عبور کر لیا ہے۔
اسپیشل کمیونیکیشن آرگنائزیشن (ایس سی او) کے زیر انتظام میرپور سافٹ ویئر ٹیکنالوجی پارک اور سیسکو اکیڈمی نے 'سیسکو ای ایم ای اے نیٹ اکیڈ کپ 2026' میں پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کر کے ملک کا نام روشن کیا ہے۔
اس عالمی مقابلے میں یورپ، مشرقِ وسطیٰ اور افریقہ کی 500 سے زائد نامور آئی ٹی اکیڈمیز نے حصہ لیا، جن میں پاکستان کی کارکردگی سب سے نمایاں رہی۔
ایس سی او کے حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ آزاد کشمیر اور گلگت بلتستان کے علاقوں میں قائم کیے گئے 100 سے زائد آئی ٹی مراکز اس شاندار کامیابی کی بنیاد ثابت ہوئے ہیں۔

Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in the field of digital skills, surpassing more than 70 countries in a global competition. The Software Technology Park Mirpur, operating under the Special Communications Organization (SCO), along with the Cisco Academy, secured the top position in the prestigious Cisco EMEA NetAcad Cup 2026.
According to reports, Pakistan outperformed over 500 international IT academies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to clinch the overall first place. This victory highlights the country's rising prowess in the global information technology landscape.
SCO officials attributed this success to the establishment of more than 100 IT setups across Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, which played a pivotal role in training and showcasing Pakistani talent on the world stage.
This achievement in the Cisco EMEA NetAcad Cup 2026 is being hailed as clear evidence of Pakistan's promising digital future and its expanding capabilities within the IT sector.
