Pakistan to Host Second Round of US-Iran High-Level Talks Next Week
Following a breakthrough in initial discussions in Islamabad, the United States and Iran are reportedly set to hold a second round of high-level negotiations in Pakistan next Monday.
امریکی نشریاتی ادارے سی این این نے ایرانی ذرائع کے حوالے سے خبر دی ہے کہ ایران اور امریکہ کے مابین مذاکرات کا اگلا مرحلہ آئندہ پیر کو پاکستان میں ہونے والا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق، امریکی حکام نے فی الحال ان مذاکرات کے شیڈول کی کوئی باضابطہ تصدیق نہیں کی ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ ان دو طرفہ مذاکرات کا پہلا دور پہلے ہی اسلام آباد میں منعقد ہو چکا ہے، جس میں دونوں ملکوں کے اہم رہنماؤں نے شرکت کی تھی۔
اس پہلے دور میں امریکی وفد کی سربراہی نائب صدر جے ڈی وینس کر رہے تھے، جبکہ ان کے ساتھ جیرڈ کشنر اور اسٹیو وٹکوف بھی موجود تھے۔
ایرانی وفد کی قیادت پارلیمنٹ کے اسپیکر محمد باقر قالیباف نے کی، جن کے ہمراہ وزیر خارجہ عباس عراقچی بھی شامل تھے۔
ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اسلام آباد میں ہونے والے ابتدائی مذاکرات کے دوران اہم پیش رفت ہوئی تھی، جس کی بنیاد پر فریقین نے گفتگو کے سلسلے کو جاری رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا تھا۔

According to the report, the U.S. has not yet officially confirmed the proposed schedule for these talks. It is noteworthy that the initial round of discussions between the two nations was held in Islamabad, featuring high-level delegations. The American team was led by Vice President J.D. Vance, accompanied by Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff. On the Iranian side, the delegation was headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
