YouTube Rolls Out Picture-in-Picture Mode for All Mobile Users
YouTube is expanding its Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode to all Android and iOS users, allowing for seamless multitasking via a mini-player window.

اس فیچر کے تحت صارفین یوٹیوب کی مرکزی ایپ بند کرنے کے باوجود ایک چھوٹی ونڈو یا منی پلیئر میں ویڈیو دیکھ سکیں گے، جس سے موبائل پر مختلف کام بیک وقت کرنا نہایت آسان ہو جائے گا۔
انتظامیہ کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ سہولت دنیا بھر کے صارفین کو مرحلہ وار طریقے سے آنے والے چند مہینوں میں فراہم کر دی جائے گی۔
کمپنی نے واضح کیا ہے کہ عام صارفین طویل ویڈیوز کو اس موڈ میں دیکھ سکیں گے لیکن میوزک ویڈیوز کے لیے یہ سہولت فی الحال محدود ہو سکتی ہے، جبکہ پریمیئم صارفین کے لیے یہ تمام مواد پر لاگو ہوگی۔ اسے استعمال کرنے کے لیے صارفین کو صرف ہوم بٹن دبانا یا اسکرین کو اوپر کی جانب سوائپ کرنا ہوگا۔

YouTube has introduced a significant feature for mobile users, allowing videos to be viewed even while navigating other applications.
According to the company, the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode is being rolled out for all Android and iOS users globally. Previously, this functionality was exclusive to YouTube Premium subscribers.
This feature enables users to exit the YouTube app and continue watching or listening to content in a small mini-player window, making multitasking much more efficient.
YouTube stated that the feature will be released to users worldwide in phases over the coming months.
While standard users can use PiP for long-form videos, the service may be limited for music videos unless the user has a subscription. Premium subscribers, however, will enjoy access to this feature across all types of content. To activate it, users can simply press the home button or swipe up on their screen to transition the video into the mini-player.
