Babar Azam is expected to return for Pakistan’s second Test against Bangladesh after recovering from a knee injury that ruled him out of the first match.

Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam, who missed the first Test against Bangladesh due to a knee injury, is now moving towards full recovery and is expected to return for the second Test starting on May 18.
Babar was ruled out of the squad a day before the first Test after suffering knee discomfort. Following his absence, Pakistan suffered a 104-run defeat and were bowled out for just 163 runs in the second innings.
The former captain has resumed batting practice in the nets in Dhaka under the supervision of the team’s physiotherapist and training staff, actively participating in training sessions.
According to team sources, Babar did not experience any discomfort during the net sessions, indicating a positive recovery in his fitness level.
Although the team management has not yet officially confirmed his inclusion, there are strong chances that he will be part of the playing XI, with several days still remaining before the second Test.
