Maarka-e-Haq Games 2026: Large Turnout for Cycling Race Organized by Punjab Sports Department
As part of the ongoing Maarka-e-Haq Games 2026, the Punjab Sports and Youth Affairs Department organized a massive cycling race to honor the Pakistan Army and promote sports among the youth.
محکمہ کھیل و امور نوجوانان پنجاب کے زیرِ اہتمام 'معرکہ حق گیمز 2026' کے تیسرے روز ایک پروقار سائیکلنگ ریس کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں مردوں، خواتین اور بچوں کی ایک بڑی تعداد نے جوش و خروش کے ساتھ حصہ لیا۔
اس ایونٹ کا باقاعدہ افتتاح وائس چیئرمین اسپورٹس بورڈ پنجاب اور ڈی جی اسپورٹس پنجاب نے مشترکہ طور پر کیا۔ تقریب کے دوران شرکاء کا جذبہ دیدنی تھا، جنہوں نے سبز ہلالی پرچم تھامے پاک فوج اور پاکستان کے حق میں والہانہ نعرے بازی کی۔
تقریب کے مہمانِ خصوصی سلمان ملک نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ معرکہ حق ہماری قومی تاریخ کا وہ درخشاں باب ہے جس نے قوم کا سر فخر سے بلند کر دیا ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ وطنِ عزیز کے دفاع کی خاطر پوری قوم اور افواجِ پاکستان سیسہ پلائی دیوار کی طرح متحد ہیں۔
ڈائریکٹر جنرل اسپورٹس پنجاب، محمد طارق قریشی نے ایونٹ کی کامیابی پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان سرگرمیوں کا بنیادی مقصد عسکری جوانوں کی قربانیوں کو سلام پیش کرنا اور نوجوان نسل میں کھیلوں کا شعور بیدار کرنا ہے۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ہاکی، کراٹے اور سائیکلنگ کے کامیاب مقابلوں کے بعد اب کل پنجاب اسٹیڈیم میں 'شیرِ لاہور دنگل' کا میلہ سجے گا۔
سائیکلنگ ریس کے اختتام پر فاتح کھلاڑیوں میں انعامات تقسیم کیے گئے، جبکہ فضا میں گونجتے ملی نغموں نے ماحول کو مزید پرجوش بنا دیا۔ اس موقع پر شرکاء نے مہمانانِ خصوصی کے ساتھ گروپ فوٹوز بھی بنوائے۔

The Punjab Department of Sports and Youth Affairs successfully organized a cycling race on the third day of the Maarka-e-Haq Games 2026. The event witnessed large-scale participation from across the demographic spectrum, including men, women, and children. Vice Chairman of the Punjab Sports Board and the Director General (DG) of Sports Punjab officially inaugurated the race. Attendees displayed fervent patriotism throughout the event, waving national flags and chanting slogans in appreciation of Pakistan and its Armed Forces. Speaking as the chief guest, Salman Malik remarked that the spirit of 'Maarka-e-Haq' has filled the nation with immense pride. He emphasized that the citizens of Pakistan and its military stand as a fortified wall, jointly safeguarding the country's sovereignty. DG Sports Punjab, Mohammad Tariq Qureshi, highlighted that these games are designed to pay tribute to the Armed Forces while fostering a healthy sporting culture among the youth. He noted that following successful hockey, karate, and cycling competitions, the 'Sher-e-Lahore Dangal' wrestling event will take place at the Punjab Stadium tomorrow. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the winning cyclists.
