Hyderabad Kings defeated Islamabad United by 2 runs in a thrilling PSL Season 11 Eliminator 2 at Gaddafi Stadium, setting up a final clash against Peshawar Zalmi.

In a nail-biting encounter during the second eliminator of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, Hyderabad Kings secured their place in the final by defeating Islamabad United by a narrow margin of 2 runs.
The match, held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, began with Islamabad United winning the toss and electing to field. Hyderabad Kings capitalized on the opportunity, posting a total of 186 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. Usman Khan led the charge with a brilliant unbeaten 61, supported by captain Marnus Labuschagne (39), Saim Ayub (38), and Kusal Perera (37).
Islamabad United's bowling effort saw Imad Wasim claim 2 wickets, while Chris Green, Richard Gleeson, and Faheem Ashraf took one wicket apiece.
Chasing the target, Islamabad United fell just short, finishing at 184 for 7. Mark Chapman top-scored with 43 runs, followed by Haider Ali (31) and Devon Conway (30). Shadab Khan and Chris Green contributed 22 and 21 runs respectively, but it wasn't enough to cross the finish line.
The match reached a dramatic conclusion in the final over when Hunain Shah displayed exceptional nerves, successfully defending 6 runs to propel his team into the final. Hunain Shah and Mohammad Ali each took two wickets, while Hassan Khan, Saim Ayub, and Akif Javed picked up one each. Hyderabad Kings will now face Peshawar Zalmi in the grand final this Sunday in Lahore.
