IHC Rejects TikToker Sana Yusuf's Plea for Case Transfer
The Islamabad High Court has dismissed a petition by TikToker Sana Yusuf seeking to move her trial to another court, citing a lack of evidence regarding allegations of judicial bias.
اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے ٹک ٹاکر ثنا یوسف کے مقدمے کی سماعت دوسری عدالت منتقل کرنے سے متعلق درخواست کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے اپنا تفصیلی تحریری فیصلہ سنا دیا ہے۔
چیف جسٹس سرفراز ڈوگر کی جانب سے جاری کردہ اس فیصلے میں واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ ماتحت عدالت کے جج پر لگائے جانے والے جانبداری یا نامناسب رویے کے الزامات میں کوئی حقیقت نہیں ہے۔
عدالت عالیہ نے اپنے فیصلے میں مزید کہا کہ درخواست گزار کی جانب سے اٹھائے گئے اعتراضات کے حق میں کوئی بھی ٹھوس ثبوت پیش نہیں کیا جا سکا، جس کی بنا پر کیس کی منتقلی کی استدعا منظور نہیں کی جا سکتی۔ اس عدالتی فیصلے کے بعد ثنا یوسف کے خلاف مقدمے کی کارروائی اسی متعلقہ عدالت میں جاری رکھی جائے گی۔
English Translation
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a detailed written judgment rejecting a petition to transfer the trial of TikToker Sana Yusuf to a different court.
In the ruling, Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar observed that the allegations of bias and misconduct leveled against the presiding judge of the trial court were entirely baseless and lacked factual grounds.
The written verdict further stated that the objections raised by the petitioner were not supported by any concrete evidence. Consequently, the request for a case transfer was dismissed, and the trial will proceed in the original designated court.
