Karachi Temperature Soars to 43°C as Heatwave Persists
Karachi experiences a severe heatwave with temperatures hitting 43°C and humidity dropping to 7%. Health experts urge citizens to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight.
محکمہ موسمیات کی رپورٹ کے مطابق، کراچی میں آج بھی گرمی کی شدید لہر برقرار ہے اور موسم انتہائی خشک ہے۔ شہرِ قائد میں پارہ 43 ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ تک جا پہنچا ہے، جبکہ فضا میں نمی کی شرح محض 7 فیصد ریکارڈ کی گئی ہے۔
موسمیاتی تجزیہ کاروں کا کہنا ہے کہ شہر میں شمال مغربی سمت سے 19 کلومیٹر فی گھنٹہ کی رفتار سے گرم اور خشک ہوائیں چل رہی ہیں، جبکہ گزشتہ شب کم سے کم درجہ حرارت 29 ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ درج کیا گیا۔
گرمی کی شدت کے پیشِ نظر طبی ماہرین نے شہریوں کو مشورہ دیا ہے کہ وہ بلا ضرورت گھروں سے باہر نکلنے سے گریز کریں، پانی کا استعمال زیادہ سے زیادہ کریں اور دھوپ میں نکلتے وقت اپنے سر کو ڈھانپ کر رکھیں۔
English Translation
According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi remains in the grip of a severe heatwave and extremely dry weather conditions. The city's temperature has soared to 43 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level has been recorded at a mere 7 percent.
Hot and dry winds from the northwest are currently blowing at a speed of 19 kilometers per hour. Furthermore, the minimum temperature recorded last night was 29 degrees Celsius, providing little relief from the intense heat.
In response to the extreme conditions, medical experts have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure. They recommend increasing water intake and ensuring that the head is covered when venturing outside to prevent heatstroke and dehydration.
