Kinnaird College and Punjab Counter Narcotics Force Host Major Anti-Drug Seminar

Kinnaird College's Anti-Drug and Tobacco Committee, in collaboration with the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, organized a comprehensive drug awareness seminar on May 5, 2026.

Brigadier Mazhar Iqbal, Director General of the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, attended as the chief guest. During the session, Prof. Dr. Musha Asad Khan, Chair of the Anti-Drug Committee, welcomed the attendees and summarized the institution's ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free academic environment over the past years.

The guest speaker delivered an impactful lecture on the dangers of narcotics and their detrimental effects on society. He urged students to play an active role in building a drug-free community through informed choices. To further reinforce the message, an awareness walk was held within the college premises, promoting a healthy lifestyle among students and faculty.

Principal Prof. Dr. Irum Anjum emphasized the significance of such sessions, reaffirming the college's commitment to protecting students from the growing threat of drug abuse and ensuring a secure campus through continuous institutional collaboration.
