The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained its bullish momentum at the start of the trading week. Although the market stayed positive, the initial intense rally faced a slight slowdown later in the session due to profit-taking by investors.
The trading day commenced with a significant surge of 1,733 points. During the session, the market witnessed extreme volatility on the upside, with the index recording a massive gain of over 4,200 points at its peak.
According to the latest market data, the KSE-100 index successfully reclaimed four major psychological milestones, ranging from 162,000 to 165,000 points. Currently, the index is trading at the 165,257 level, up by 2,263 points.
