BISE Faisalabad Postpones Matric Exams Following Alleged Paper Leaks
The Faisalabad Education Board has postponed Computer Science and Biology papers for the 2026 Matric exams following reports of paper leaks and mismanagement.
فیصل آباد کے تعلیمی بورڈ نے میٹرک کے پہلے سالانہ امتحان برائے 2026 کے دوسرے گروپ کے بعض پرچے ناگزیر وجوہات کی بناء پر ملتوی کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
بورڈ کے سیکریٹری کی جانب سے جاری کردہ اعلامیے کے مطابق، آج شیڈول کمپیوٹر سائنس، بائیولوجی اور اہل حدیث درس نظامی کے امتحانات منعقد نہیں ہوں گے۔ ان ملتوی شدہ پرچوں کے لیے نئے امتحانی شیڈول کا اعلان بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔
دریں اثناء، امتحانی مراکز میں شدید بدنظمی کی خبریں بھی گردش کر رہی ہیں۔ ذرائع کا دعویٰ ہے کہ نویں جماعت کے کمپیوٹر سائنس اور بائیولوجی کے سوالیہ پرچے وقت سے پہلے ہی سوشل میڈیا پر آ گئے تھے، جس نے بورڈ کی ساکھ اور امتحانی نظام کی شفافیت پر سوالیہ نشان کھڑا کر دیا ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ یہ پہلا واقعہ نہیں ہے، بلکہ گزشتہ پیر کو ریاضی کا پرچہ بھی امتحانی وقت سے تقریباً تین گھنٹے قبل مبینہ طور پر لیک ہو گیا تھا، جس سے طلبا اور والدین میں گہری تشویش کی لہر دوڑ گئی تھی۔
تعلیمی حکام کا موقف ہے کہ ان واقعات کی مکمل تحقیقات کی جا رہی ہیں اور مستقبل میں پرچوں کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے سخت اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔
English Translation
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has announced the postponement of several exams for the second group of the Matric First Annual Examination 2026.
According to the Board Secretary, today's scheduled papers for Computer Science, Biology, and Ahl-e-Hadith Dars-e-Nizami have been canceled. Revised dates for these postponed examinations will be shared with students in a later announcement.
Reports of significant mismanagement have surfaced alongside the postponement. Sources indicate that 9th-grade papers for Computer Science and Biology were leaked prior to the official exam time, raising serious concerns regarding the integrity of the board's examination process.
This incident follows a similar report from last Monday, where the Mathematics paper was allegedly leaked approximately three hours before the scheduled start time, further intensifying the debate over exam transparency.
Board authorities have confirmed that an investigation into these breaches is currently underway, and stricter protocols will be implemented to ensure the transparency and security of future examinations.
