FPSC Announces CSS 2025 Results: Only 355 Candidates Clear Written Exam
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the CSS 2025 results. Out of nearly 13,000 candidates, only 355 passed the written exam, with 170 recommended for final appointment.
فیڈرل پبلک سروس کمیشن (ایف پی ایس سی) نے سی ایس ایس 2025 کے سالانہ امتحانات کے حتمی نتائج جاری کر دیے ہیں۔ اس کڑے مقابلے میں کُل 12 ہزار 792 امیدواروں نے حصہ لیا تھا، لیکن محض 355 امیدوار ہی تحریری امتحان کی منزل عبور کرنے میں کامیاب ہو سکے۔
ایف پی ایس سی کی جانب سے جاری کردہ تفصیلات کے مطابق، کامیابی حاصل کرنے والے 355 امیدواروں میں سے 170 خوش نصیبوں کی مختلف سرکاری عہدوں پر تقرری کی سفارش کی گئی ہے، جن میں 86 خواتین اور 84 مرد شامل ہیں۔ اس سال اسد رفیق نے پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی، جبکہ محمد محسن خالد اور طارق حفیظ بالترتیب دوسرے اور تیسرے نمبر پر رہے۔
نتائج کی ایک دلچسپ بات یہ رہی کہ ابتدائی 30 پوزیشنز حاصل کرنے والے تمام امیدواروں کو پاکستان ایڈمنسٹریٹو سروس اور پولیس سروس کے شعبے الاٹ کیے گئے ہیں، تاہم ٹاپ 30 میں شامل کوئی بھی امیدوار فارن سروس میں جگہ بنانے میں کامیاب نہ ہوسکا۔ حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ ان افسران کی حتمی تعیناتیاں میرٹ لسٹ اور دستیاب کوٹے کے مطابق عمل میں لائی جائیں گی۔
English Translation
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results for the CSS Examination 2025. Out of a total of 12,792 candidates who appeared in the competitive exam, only 355 candidates managed to clear the rigorous written stage.
According to the official notification, 170 candidates have been recommended for appointment from the pool of successful qualifiers, comprising 84 men and 86 women. The results highlight outstanding academic achievements, with Asad Rafiq securing the first position, followed by Mohammad Mohsin Khalid in second and Tariq Hafeez in third place.
The announcement further detailed that the top 30 position holders have been allocated to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). Interestingly, none of the candidates within the top 30 brackets were allocated to the Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP). The FPSC maintained that final appointments will be strictly governed by merit and the availability of vacancies across various service groups.
