Sindh Government Implements Zero-Tolerance Policy Against Cheating in Board Exams

The Sindh government has enforced a strict zero-tolerance policy to curb cheating in the upcoming Matriculation and Intermediate examinations, announcing comprehensive measures to ensure academic integrity.

In a joint statement, Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah and Minister for Universities and Boards Mohammad Ismail Rahoo emphasized that indiscriminate action will be taken against students and staff members found complicit in cheating practices.

Under the newly implemented regulations, any student found in possession of a mobile phone or unauthorized cheating materials inside the examination center will be immediately expelled. Furthermore, all their papers for the session will be canceled, and they will face a ban from participating in future board examinations.

The provincial ministers warned that invigilators or administrative officials found facilitating cheating would face severe departmental proceedings. If proven guilty, these individuals could face immediate dismissal from their services.

According to authorities, the surveillance and monitoring systems at examination centers are being significantly strengthened to guarantee a transparent and fair testing environment for all candidates.
